Gvdtec Computers was founded in 2017 by Gerhard Van Dyk, who had already spent nearly two decades serving his community as an IT Technician. In 2018, the company launched its eCommerce platform at www.gvdtec.co.za, gaining traction through successful sales on bidorbuy.co.za.
Since then, Gvdtec Computers has evolved beyond its IT roots by establishing an specialised division known as The Borders Programs. The IT division continues to manage all computer-related services such as but not limited to server maintenance, hardware repairs network and printer support.
To accelerate progress across The Borders Programs, we rely on both time and funding. Time is gained through collaboration with individuals who share our enthusiasm and are willing to contribute their skills. We invite anyone passionate about our mission to get involved in any capacity. For those unable to offer time but eager to support our programs, we welcome donations from both the public and corporate institutions. All donors will receive honorary recognition on this website.
